Food grade PLA by Carbon
CARBON by Comfy Materials PLA+ filaments are extruded from premium REVODE110 polylactic acid resin, which feeds smoothly and constantly without clogging the nozzle or extruder while printing.REVODE110 is derived from natural renewable plant resources and is BPA-Free. This makes it an excellent low-carbon alternative for most traditional petroleum-based resins and synthetic plastics. REVODE110 is incinerable, recyclable, and does not cause harm to the environment.
REVODE110 is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 51 for Food Equipment Materials and may be used in various food contact applications in accordance with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration Regulations. REVODE110 has also been environmentally certified by BPI and bio-based by the Bioplastic Association of Japan.
The use of this high quality renewable raw material allows CARBON by Comfy Materials to provide a filament that is certified food grade and food safe, with low odor, low warpage, high impact strength and good liquidity (flows smoothly).
